MACD 2019 Friend of Conservation Award

DEADLINE: AUGUST 15, 2019

SUMMARY: The Friend of Conservation Award recognizes an individual, business, organization, agency, etc. outside of the conservation association for outstanding contributions to the conservation of our nation’s natural resources.

ELIGIBILITY: Any individual, business, organization or agency that is not directly associated with conservation districts at the local, state, or national level is eligible to receive this award.

NUMBER OF AWARDS GIVEN:  One.

AWARD:  The award recipient will be honored at the MACD Annual Meeting in Jackson, Mississippi, in January. The winner will receive one complimentary ticket to the President’s Awards Program, a plaque, and the award will be submitted to the NACD Friend of Conservation Award.
